Biography

Yachiyo Yamamoto, PhD (Nursing), is a midwife and Professor at Yasuda Women’s University in Japan. Shespecialize in maternal, child, and adolescent health, with a particular focus on sexual health education. Her work integrates midwifery and nursing perspectives to promote comprehensive, evidence based sexuality education in school and community settings.

Research interests:

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly the role of midwives in enhancing sexual health education. She has conducted survey-based studies on school health practices and presented my findings at academic conferences. Her ongoing work aims to develop practical models that strengthen collaboration between educators and healthcare professionals.
