Biography

Kasandra Miranda is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Ponce Health Sciences University, with a focus on health psychology, trauma, and women’s health. She has research experience in qualitative methodologies, including reflexive thematic analysis, and has contributed to studies examining the psychosocial impact of chronic health conditions. Her work centers on understanding the intersection of physical illness, emotional functioning, and interpersonal relationships. She has presented research on endometriosis at international conferences and is committed to advancing patient-centered, integrative approaches to healthcare.
