Biography

Giuliana Facco Machado, MD Candidate, MSc, holds a Master’s degree in Gender and International Relations from the University of Bristol. Her academic background integrates global health policy, gender inequities, and maternal epidemiology. Presented research at national and international scientific meetings and contributed to peer-reviewed academic publications. My current work focuses on infectious diseases in pregnancy and maternal health system resilience in middle-income settings, aiming to strengthen evidence-based strategies that protect maternal outcomes during public health emergencies.
